Kelly's Clandon Park Run is a once a year opportunity to experience hidden parts of the Estate opened exclusively for this event by kind permission of the Earl of Onslow.
This hugely popular run is organised by the PTA of George Abbot School. Teachers and pupils take part alongside hundreds of others from the local community. The event will start and finish at George Abbot School, with a route heading out on the road straight into Clandon Park with its stunning fields and lakes.
At HQ there will be free parking and a bag drop provided by Kelly's Storage plus hot and cold refreshments. The needs of runners are all catered for as well as those of the many spectators who we hope will be able to come to enjoy the atmosphere and cheer the runners on!
Entrance costs: Entrance is by voluntary donation which is sent directly to George Abbot School PTA to fund additional resources to benefit the students at the school. Kelly’s Storage make no deductions and pay all transaction charges. The amounts shown on the registration page are suggested voluntary donations. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE: Help support the green initiatives of the PTA and Kelly’s Storage and bring your own water bottle! This can be filled at water stations provided, protecting the environment by cutting down on plastic waste. Thank you!

Training plan one
This is a flat road and cross-country 10k and seasoned runners will enjoy the mixed terrain, whilst those new to the distance should find it a manageable first 10k.
The 4k is also mixed road and cross country.
For the 10k you should ensure you are doing 2 runs a week of 6-8km in the last few weeks before the event.
If possible, try an extra run doing an interval-based speed session, with a total of about 5k cumulatively in effort.
In the final week before the race, have just a few easy runs then rest up in preparation for the big day!
DON'T FORGET: The right trail shoes and clothing for the day will make your run safer and more comfortable. Please check our website for updates nearer the time about weather and ground conditions at Clandon Park.
