The challenging terrain means you will really earn your medals! Major benefit is that you get to enjoy breath-taking views and the chance to experience the exclusive grounds at this prestigious venue. A must for all runners!!

As well as being a challenge for serious runners we aim to make this a real family event. There is a 1k untimed children's challenge with various activities to keep them amused. This, together with great food & drink at HQ, means there really is something for everyone. So come along and join us!

Routes

You can view the 2018 routes by clicking on the distances below.

Children's race

5k run

10k run

Half marathon run is the 10k route with an added 1/2 k section on the top of the North Downs way

A little more info...

All the routes other than the children's event use the South part of the estate and there is not as much climbing as previous years.

The 10k, half marathon and 5k runs go up through the field above the lake.

The 10k and half marathon routes go up to the North Downs ridge on a hard packed footpath path rather than a muddy field where it's difficult to climb if wet.

The 5k returns on the track that runs North/South down the middle of the estate, back to the finish.

The 5k and 10k walks are both on a separate route to the runs, yet start and finish under the runners arch so walkers will feel very much a part of the event and will collect return to smiling faces to receive their well-deserved medals.
