A VIRTUAL fundraising event for several charities

There is no entry fee for this virtual event but we have suggested a mininmum voluntary donation of just £5 for all distances & £1 for kids. We know times are hard for everyone now but would like to encourage you to choose a larger donation from the drop down menu if you can  in order to help the charities through this difficult time. Please don't forget to add Gift Aid if you are eligible. Thank you!

Cherry Trees

For over 40 years Cherry Trees in East Clandon has provided home from home respite care for children and young people with severe learning and physical disabilities.  All our children are vulnerable and need very special care.  These children are best looked after at home but sometimes their families need a break.   Cherry Trees offers professional care in a safe and loving environment, where every child is valued for who they are.

Oakleaf Enterprise

Whilst mental health has become a ‘hot-topic’ over the last few years, Oakleaf have been working tirelessly to support some of the most vulnerable adults in the Surrey community since 1997. Their beneficiaries are adults aged 16-67 suffering from any mental illness, including schizophrenia, depression, bi-polar disorder and anxiety.  They address multiple problems of social isolation, unemployment, poverty and discrimination that their clients face.  They help clients to overcome huge barriers and work with them to rebuild their future - by actively training, engaging and supporting them to gain practical skills and the confidence needed to return to the workplace.

In 2019, Oakleaf supported over 720 individuals in the Surrey community, helping 75 people back into employment. Their support made 84% of clients feel more confident and 91% of clients feel less isolated.
